Smoke Control System Commissioning

Delta Smoke Control has extensive experience in commissioning smoke control systems. Commissioning covers two aspects: firstly, verifying that the different elements of the system work properly together and secondly, checking how well the actual system performance delivers the design concept.

Robust Checks

At Delta Smoke Control we are often asked to come in as the outside experts to carry out such an assessment in order to officially commission a system. Naturally, this is something we do as a matter of course for systems that have designed and installed ourselves but we can equally do this exercise for customers that have a pre-existing smoke control system. 

 

Expertise is a Requirement

Delta Smoke Control are certified to both SDI 19 and SDI 05 as a competent installer and servicer of active fire and smoke control systems. We ensure that the system that is installed meets the specified design and performs to the specified requirements. We also demonstrate this to the Fire Engineer and Building Control Officer for final approval.
