The Regulatory Reform Order 2005 (RRO) came into effect in October 2006 and replaced over 70 pieces of fire safety law. The RRO applies to all non-domestic premises in England and Wales, including mixed-use commercial and retail buildings. The Government have issued statutory guidance for those with legal responsibilities under the Regulations, including those that relate to commercial and mixed-use buildings, and at Delta, we have worked with partners at large commercial mixed-use environments, including business centres and corporate headquarters that include an element of retail.
