Delta Response: AOV Smoke Ventilation System

Fareham Live is a new state-of-the-art entertainment venue boasting an 800-seat concert hall and 120-seat secondary space. Delta Smoke Control installed a smoke control system using a Natural AOV smoke ventilation system (Automatic Opening Vent System) serving the Fly Tower of Fareham Live. The system provides smoke ventilation and day-to-day ventilation, which is crucial for a venue that regularly uses pyrotechnic smoke in performance and needs to be effectively ventilated for everyday use. Smoke Control Products used for Fareham Live: Delta used Duo-Therma double flap ventilators, pictured below, which provide a high level of noise reduction, RW of 44dB, to stop noise breakout and break-in. This is particularly important in a theatre where sound is critical. The bespoke smoke control system was fitted complete with a control system to provide both automatic and manual control, pictured in the gallery below. We have added a walkthrough video of the Fareham Live project below so you can see this fantastic venue for yourself.
